Privacy Policy
Glasyn keeps everything on your iPhone. There is no account, nothing is uploaded to us or anyone else, and we do not track you.
What we collect
Nothing. Glasyn does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server. The hot flashes, check-ins, notes, medications, and any other entries you make are saved only in the app's own storage on your device.
No account, no tracking
Glasyn has no sign-up and no login. It contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking software of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and we have no way to identify you.
Your data stays on your device
Your entries never leave your iPhone unless you choose to share them. When you create a doctor report (PDF or CSV) or an encrypted backup and then share it, that file goes wherever you send it through Apple's standard share sheet. We are not involved in that transfer and never receive a copy.
Encrypted backups
If you create a backup, it is encrypted on your device with a passphrase you choose. We never see your passphrase and cannot recover it. The backup file is readable only by someone who has both the file and the passphrase.
Purchases
Glasyn Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and manages the subscription. We never see your payment card or billing details. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Notifications
If you turn on a medication reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No reminder content is sent to us or to any server.
Children
Glasyn is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can export it or delete all of it at any time from within the app (Settings, then Delete all data). Deleting the app removes its data from your device.
Health entries are a special category of personal data under Article 9 of the GDPR. The app processes them only on your device, with your explicit consent given when you first set up the app. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your data or removing the app. Under the GDPR you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (Articles 15 to 22); because your data never leaves your device, you exercise these directly in the app rather than by request to us.
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybine duomenu apsaugos inspekcija, VDAI), at https://vdai.lrv.lt.
Health information
Glasyn is a personal wellness diary, not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The entries you make are personal notes for your own reference and for sharing with your clinician if you choose.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
